Mr & Mrs Gardiner - Atlantida - Dream Cyprus Wedding

Nothing could lockdown this couple! On the 30th September, in the middle of the 2020 Global pandemic Sam & Shannon envisaged a relaxed & unique Wedding day that took place at the idyllic Atlantida, just footsteps away from the sand and sea.

Before the Wedding party could have a taste of sunshine, there was a lot of organisational support from Mother of the Bride Tracie, to ensure all guests had the correct covid test and paperwork ready to embark on a holiday not to be forgotten. Most of Shannon and Sams guests were staying at the same hotel throughout the duration of their stay so by the time the Wedding came around everyone was practically family after some amazing memories and friendships had already been formed in such a short space of time.

Getting ready at a central Paphos hotel, the bridal party were overwhelmed with their hair and makeup provided by Renoir which is always a worry for a Bride getting married abroad. The pre-Wedding action captured by Island Films started rolling as the girls started popping open the champagne before slipping into their dresses ready for the day ahead. Shannon had sourced her artificial flowers from the UK but they still managed to look sensational after transit, showing a spread of eucalyptus foliage and a white open rose bouquet, with matching mini Bridesmaids Posies and buttonholes.

The couples theme was white, green and modern gold geometric with accents of yellow gold from the candle flicker supplied by Marry Me Cyprus Ltd.

Shannon and her Father arrived in Exclusive Wedding Transports finest vintage Beauford, laughing on arrival before embracing the longest walk down the aisle to meet her future hubby as he wiped his face to hide his tears. After the couple said I Do, Doves (provided by Wings of Dove) were released by Shannon and her Brother as a touching tribute to absent loved ones.

Confetti and cheers followed as guests headed to grab themselves a Sex on the Beach cocktail whilst embracing the views and coastal breeze! Group photos, portraits and fun time snaps were captured by Dan James Photography, followed by the delivery of Love Island Cake showstopper including cupcakes and a top tier that complimented the couples Wedding style. The wedding party then departed on an Open Top Red London Bus for a champagne tour, injuring the beauty of the Paphos coastline.

On return, guests were seated ready to welcome the new Mr & Mrs Gardiner for the heartfelt speeches and thankyous to commence. In true Cyprus charm, the wedding party enjoyed a taste of the Mediterranean magic with traditional Cypriot meze cuisine. The party then started down at the beach front where the bar was open!

The couple had kept their first dance song a surprise for everyone as it wasn’t your typical romantic melody. Instead, the DJ Andy Cummings cranks up the party and outcomes Dance Macabre by Ghost. With their feet in the sand, the newlyweds were showing off their best air guitars to each other without taking a second glimpse at their guests surrounding them, embracing the everlasting moment.
