Cookie Policy

A short policy, because there is not much to say: this website does not set tracking cookies, does not use advertising pixels, and does not follow you around the internet.

Last updated: 31 July 2026

What this site does not do

As at the date above, marrymecyprus.co.uk sets no cookies of its own when you browse it. There is no advertising network, no retargeting pixel, no social media tracker and no cross-site profiling. That is why you are not being asked to dismiss a consent banner.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand which pages couples find useful. It is deliberately chosen because it is cookieless: it counts page views and reports aggregate patterns — which pages are visited, which site referred the visit, the country, the general device type — without storing an identifier on your device and without building a profile of you.

We cannot use it to identify you, and it does not track you across other websites.

Strictly necessary technology

The website is hosted by Vercel. Its infrastructure may set strictly necessary cookies in limited circumstances — for example to route requests correctly or to protect the site against automated abuse. These are not used for marketing or analytics, and under both the EU and UK cookie rules they do not require consent.

Standard server logs, including IP addresses, are kept to run the site securely and diagnose faults. This is covered in our Privacy Policy.

Fonts and images

The typefaces used on this site are served from our own domain rather than requested from a third-party font service, so browsing these pages does not send your IP address to a font provider. Images are served from our own domain too.

Links to social media

We link out to our Instagram, Facebook and Google Business profiles, and to the awards bodies that have recognised our work. These are plain links, not embedded widgets, so nothing is loaded from those platforms until you choose to click through. Once you do, that platform’s own cookie and privacy policies apply.

Controlling cookies yourself

Even though this site does not set them, you can control cookies generally through your browser settings:

  • Chrome — Settings › Privacy and security › Third-party cookies
  • Safari — Settings › Privacy
  • Firefox — Settings › Privacy & Security
  • Edge — Settings › Cookies and site permissions

Blocking cookies across the web can stop some other websites working properly. It will not affect this one.

If this changes

If we later add anything that sets non-essential cookies — an embedded video player, a booking widget, a marketing pixel — we will update this page and put a proper consent mechanism in place before it goes live. Any question about this, email sales@marrymecyprus.co.uk.
