A Sunset to Themselves: Bethanie & Jamie at Coral Residence
As the sun dropped over the sea at Coral Residence, Bethanie and Jamie slipped away for a few quiet minutes in the golden light — just the two of them, the rocks, and the last of the day.

Golden hour at Coral Residence
Some of our favourite moments of any wedding happen in the quiet stretch after the celebration settles — when the light turns gold, the pace slows, and a couple finally gets a few minutes that belong only to them. For Bethanie and Jamie, that moment came at the water's edge at Coral Residence on 8 June 2026.
As the sun dropped low over the sea, we walked them down to the rocks for golden hour. Bethanie's veil and train swept across the stone; Jamie in soft ivory; the Mediterranean glowing behind them. No crowd, no schedule — just the two of them and the last warm light of their wedding day.
It was a privilege to bring this day together. Marry Me Cyprus handled the planning, styling and dressing throughout, and we're so grateful to Bethanie and Jamie for letting us be part of it. Here's the sunset, more or less as it happened.

A few minutes to themselves as the sun went down over the sea.

The veil, the rocks, and a sky doing exactly what a Cyprus evening should.

Held in the last of the light.

Walking into the sun, hand in hand.

The sea behind them, the day still glowing.

No crowd, no schedule — just the two of them.

And off into the last light of the day.
If a seaside sunset like this is the picture you have in your head, we'd love to help you find it. Explore our Cyprus wedding venues, or get in touch to start planning your own.
