A Villa Wedding In Cyprus

Your people. One estate. A celebration that unfolds at its own pace.

A villa wedding in Cyprus is different to a hotel wedding. The venue is yours completely. The gates close behind you. There's no lobby to cross, no other event in the ballroom next door, no lights-out at 11pm. You set the rhythm of the day and the weekend around it.

Our villa collection ranges from intimate stone estates for 40 guests to flagship country houses for 300. Some are licensed for civil ceremonies on-site. Many sleep the wedding party across the property itself. All of them are places we know well, visit regularly, and have planned multiple weddings at.

Why A Villa Wedding

Privacy, timing and atmosphere — on your terms.

Exclusive use, always

Every villa in our collection is exclusive hire. That means no shared terraces, no strangers at the bar, no overlap with another event. The property is closed to the public for your wedding weekend.

A weekend, not a wedding

Most of our villa couples arrive 2-4 days before the wedding, host a welcome dinner the night before, and extend into a lazy recovery brunch the morning after. Villas make the full weekend effortless in a way hotels can rarely match.

Space for your vision

Villa weddings accept styling no hotel would. We've hung installations from 200-year-old olive trees, laid long banqueting tables across driveways, and turned stone courtyards into dance floors. The architecture gives you permission to be bold.

The Villa Weekend

How a villa wedding usually unfolds.

A single day expands into a proper weekend. Here's the shape most of our villa couples settle on — adjustable to your group and schedule.

Décor & Styling
01

Arrival day

The wedding party moves into the villa. Welcome drinks on the terrace, a casual supper, early night. No ceremony stress. Just settling in.

02

Welcome dinner

Close family and closest friends gather at the villa for a relaxed long-table dinner the night before the wedding — often our favourite meal of the weekend.

03

Wedding day

Preparation across the villa. Ceremony in the grounds or at a nearby licensed venue. Drinks, dinner, dancing, late-night hang — all inside the same estate.

04

Recovery brunch

A slow breakfast on the lawn the morning after. Coffee, pastries, pool, cold beer. Guests drift off through the afternoon. Your first married day together — quietly, with the people you love.

Planning from afar felt overwhelming at times, but Jodie and the team worked their magic and brought my vision to life. On the morning of the wedding she brought over the flowers and they were even better than the inspiration photo I sent.

Frequently Asked

Planning a Cyprus villa wedding — what couples ask first.

Seven honest answers to the questions we get most often. Anything else, we reply personally within 24 hours.

What is the difference between a villa wedding and a hotel wedding in Cyprus?

A villa wedding is exclusive-hire: you take over the entire property, host your ceremony, dining and evening reception across different zones of the estate, and usually accommodate close family inside the villa itself. A hotel wedding shares the venue with other guests, restricts areas, and typically runs to fixed timings. Villas deliver a private-house feel; hotels deliver convenience and scale. We plan both, and recommend based on your group and style.

How many guests can a Cyprus wedding villa host?

Our private villa venues range from intimate 40-guest estates through to flagship properties like Elea Estate (up to 300), L'Chateau (up to 150) and Liopetro (up to 200). For smaller celebrations of 20-60 guests, Vasilias Nikoklis Inn and Paliomonastiros offer beautiful character. Sleeping capacity varies too — some villas host the whole wedding party, others are ceremony-and-reception only with guests staying nearby.

Can our wedding guests sleep at the villa?

At many of our villas, yes. L'Chateau, Vasilias Nikoklis Inn and several of our private estate rentals include on-site accommodation for the immediate wedding party and close family — often 10 to 30 beds depending on the property. For larger groups we build a wider guest accommodation plan using nearby villas, boutique hotels and resort rooms, usually clustered within a 10-minute drive.

Do villa weddings in Cyprus include suppliers, or do we bring our own?

It varies. Some villas are fully managed and include catering, bar, furniture and basic styling in the hire fee. Others are more flexible — essentially private estates where we bring in our trusted supplier roster: caterers, florists, photographers, musicians, registrars. We tailor the supplier list to each villa's licensing, kitchen set-up and outdoor infrastructure.

What does a villa wedding in Cyprus cost?

Villa hire fees in Cyprus start from around €3,500 for smaller private estates and run up to €18,000+ for full-weekend exclusive hire at flagship properties. On top of the villa, a realistic total budget for a styled 60-80 guest villa wedding with full planning, catering, drinks, florals, photography and entertainment typically sits between €28,000 and €55,000. Larger luxury villa weddings run €60,000 to €120,000+. We build a transparent line-by-line budget early.

When should we book a villa for a Cyprus wedding?

The most sought-after villas book 14-18 months ahead for peak-season Saturdays (May, June, September, early October). Mid-week villa weddings and shoulder-season dates (April, late October) are often available inside 9-12 months. For short-notice villa weddings we have a curated list of estates that can comfortably host within 3-6 months.

Can we have a legal ceremony at a Cyprus wedding villa?

Yes — many of our villas are licensed for civil marriages, meaning a registrar comes to the venue and conducts the legally binding ceremony on-site. For villas that are not licensed, we arrange the legal signing at Paphos Town Hall in the days before or the morning of, and run a symbolic ceremony at the villa itself. Both routes are fully supported through our Legal Assistance service.
